Satin Fabric
Few materials are as highly esteemed as silk fabric. Silk material is elegant, beautiful and versatile. Silk fabrics drape wonderfully, have a delightful hand, and interact marvelously with light. Originally spun by the bombiyx mori worm, and at one time worth their weight in gold, silk textiles clothed emperors and helped to build empires. The satin weave method is one of the three basic textile weaves. The fabric is has a smooth surface and a lustrous face and dull back; it is made in a wide variety of weights for various uses, including dresses, particularly fine evening wear.
